Bachelor's Degree: Mass Communications
Current City: New York City, NY
Hometown: New Orleans, LA

As a New Orleans native, I set my sights on colleges out of state when I was graduating high school. Loyola University New Orleans was the only in-state college I applied to, interestingly, because of its stellar reputation in broadcast journalism, mass communication, and design. And even though I have always loved travel and adventure, joining the Wolf Pack and staying in New Orleans was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Not only did Loyola provide me with a well-rounded education, but it also prepared me to be a citizen of the world I am today. Upon completing my communications degree, my career as a television news producer took me all across the nation and around the world.

As a journalist, I am always learning something new, but I can confidently say Loyola is where I built that foundation. That “Magis,” or seeking even more, has allowed my career to span the globe from Beijing to New York. I have had the privilege of being a part of powerhouse award-winning productions like “Good Morning America” and, most recently, the “3rd Hour of Today” as a producer at NBC.

Sure, you can attend college anywhere, but Loyola is a unique New Orleans gumbo that is seasoned with a variety of flavors, including one that is sure to be your favorite. To this day, I am so thankful for my Loyola memories.
